Year of Community Conversations

On November 28, 2022, tradespeople and developers gathered to hear presentations from the Planning Department as well as meet John Kennedy, the new Senior Safety Codes Officer, and Jim Ambrus, the new Electrical Safety Codes Officer. Economic Development also led a roundtable discussion. Thanks to all that could join!

Thanks to all of the realtors who joined us on November 22, 2022 to hear presentations from the Planning and Assessment Departments as well as have a conversation with the Economic Development Department.

Camrose Helps is a group of community agencies with a vision for the residents of the City and County of Camrose.

We want you to thrive in a safe and supportive community and to be able to reach your and your family's goals. We know that we can't do this alone and need your input and ideas for making our community a place where you can live well.

This is why we're holding a Community Conversation on October 27, 2022 from 12:00pm - 5:00pm at the Camrose Public Library (4710 - 50 Avenue). This is open to anyone who has experienced challenges while living in Camrose or Camrose County. It is a safe place to discuss how these challenges impact our lives and community. A free meal and onsite childcare will be provided for those in attendance.

The City of Camrose and the Camrose Arts Council invite you to join a conversation about Arts and Culture!

Local artists and community members are invited to a community conversation to discuss the arts and culture community in Camrose and the opportunities to collaborate and celebrate together.

Join us at the Bailey Theatre on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm!

Thanks to the 38 people that showed up to this collaborative event with Camrose County! We heard some great feedback and look forward to working with you! Our findings will be available on the Business Portal at the end of April.

The City of Camrose and Camrose County want to hear from local businesses about the current business climate.

Businesses are invited to join the conversation to provide input that will help shape economic development activities and to discuss challenges and opportunities in the business community.

Representatives from the Camrose Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Camrose, and Community Futures will also be in attendance for the roundtable discussions and to provide information.

The City of Camrose is seeking input from citizens to help determine the City's priorities for the next four years. This survey is open to people who live in Camrose and/or own a business located in Camrose. Survey results will be shared with City Council as part of their strategic planning session.
