Urban Hens

The City of Camrose does not currently allow the keeping of urban hens in any district except the Urban Reserve District (outlying undeveloped lands). However, the City of Camrose does receive numerous inquiries per year regarding urban hens. The City of Camrose is looking to provide restrictions in the Land Use Bylaw Update that will allow for urban hens on a discretionary basis, should Council wish to allow hens.

The updated Land Use Bylaw has been approved.
